Bye Bye Ernie..... :o(

Well that sad day is finally upon us and we just waved goodbye to Ernie! Jade got very emotional but managed to hold back the tears. It was really weird seeing someone else getting in to our home and driving off. We had him for 3 short months and he served us really well for over 11,000km's! Hopefully he's gone to a good home. A guy from Manchester and girl from Finland bought him, and will be living in him for the next 12 months!
Oh well enough of that.

After we left Melbourne we headed for Lakes Entrance which was a nice little town just above yet another beach named 90 mile beach. Didn't do much here as we just stayed a night before heading up the coast to Merimbula for our last ever stay in Ernie. We had our last photos with him and I gave him another coat of polish to attract some new owners.
Our last drive was quite a long one but on the way a guy phoned up to view the van and that was even before we were back in Sydney. Luckily he lived just outside the city so called in to show him Ernie on the way through. They were really interested in the van but got pipped to the post by the other guys who came up with the moolah first! We even made a profit on the van by selling him for more than we paid! :o)

Anyway, we're back in Sydney now and staying with Kerry again (lucky her)! Not much else to report so I'll keep this post short.

We've just had to pay out over $600 for our visas for Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, so our pockets are feeling a little empty. Now researching our way out of Singapore as we cant be issued a visa unless we have a ticket booked out of the country - how annoying.

Oh well, hope all is good with everyone.
